This is a super premium product that tastes amazing without doing a thing to it, but performs technically beautifully when foamed. Or if you are the kind of person who likes to add a splash of milk to your deep dark brew, this product can handle that as well without wimping out and separating. Any tea drinkers in the house? You probably won’t want to turn your tea into a foam party but don’t want any separation either. You are good from now on.
Note: this is the non-chilled, shelf-stable version!
So you are a barista? Perfect. This carton of Barista Edition oat drink is made from liquid oats, which means it isn’t overly sweet or excessively heavy. What it is is fully foamable, putting you in total control over the density and performance of your foam so you can showcase your latte art skillz — sorry, we mean skills. Anyway, give it a try and see what you think. We are here for you from now on, whenever you are ready. So you are a non-barista? Also perfect. Just heat this Barista Edition Oat Drink in a container while giving it a whirl until it foams up nicely and then pour yourself a latte without milk. And if you don’t feel like a latte, you will be happy to know that this product tastes just as amazing if you drink it straight or pour it on your granola or put it to work with your cooking skills. But let’s keep that between us non-baristas, okay?

It’s rich in unsaturated fat and if you want to know what that means read the * below.
What might be less amazing
In order to make this product perform to the professional expectations of baristas, we have used an acidity regulator. But one thing you can be sure of is that there is nothing in this product that isn’t absolutely necessary or absolutely approved for consumption. Everything is plant-based, sustainable and void of stupid GMOs.

Foamable, no, make that micro-foamable.
Secret: warm it, foam it and drink it straight. Trust me.
No, not in Europe and Asia. We can guarantee that Oatly products contain less than 100 ppm (mg/kg product) gluten from wheat, rye and barley. This is comparable to products that may be labelled “Very low gluten” and which are allowed to contain max 100 ppm gluten.
Our products in the US are made from certified gluten-free oats and are labelled gluten-free.
We have oat factories located in Sweden, the Netherlands and the US and use locally sourced oats in our production. If you visit our product pages, you can see where we source each of our ingredients by clicking on the “where does it come from” button.
You bet! Our products are 100% plant-based.
The sugar in our oat drinks is produced during our enzymatic production process. Basically, we use natural enzymes to break the starches in the oats down into simple sugar like maltose, similar to how the human body uses enzymes to break starches down into sugars during digestion.
All Oatly products are 100% vegan and contain no traces of animal products. And everything we do champions plant-based consumption and sustainable production, not just for the sake of people’s health but also for the future of our planet and the well-being of coming generations.
When it comes to oat farming, our Swedish oat suppliers are fully compliant with the rules for conventional and organic farming. For conventional farming, both artificial fertilisers and manure are common practice.
Our organically farmed oats are KRAV certified — the most ambitious third-party organic certification in Sweden (read more about KRAV here: www.krav.se/english). Organic farming aims to create a closed-circuit based on nutrient recycling, so manure and residue from animals (such as bone meal) are approved as organic fertilisers. Artificial fertilisers are forbidden in organic farming.
To get even smarter around all of this, we’ve engaged in several research projects on sustainable production and consumption. And have financed a research study on sustainable farming conducted by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences that examines, among other things, the use of green fertilisers.
Everyone at Oatly imagines a future food system with the lowest possible environmental impact. And that demands a major shift from an animal based agricultural system to a much more sustainable plant-based one.
We think our vegan products made from oats is a part of that change. Hope you enjoy them. And thanks for listening.
